Canyon Adventures was established in 1991 by Ed and Kathy Hake. Ed grew up in the Gallatin Canyon and knows the area like the back of his hand. Kathy has lived in the area for over 25 years. Melissa Richterich 
Melissa has guided horseback trips for Canyon Adventures for several years. She is a seasoned traveler and has worked in the tourism industry since graduating university. Melissa is an amateur photographer and knows the history of the area. She can help you find a spot for that perfect picture while on a photography ride and educate you about the beautiful Gallatin Canyon while you soak up the scenery on a ride.
Chaney Coleman 
Chaney comes to the team with a background in events horseback riding and has plenty of experience working with and around horses. In fact, ask her just how many tons of manure she's shoveled in her life! You will love Chaney's caring personality and attention to details to ensure you have a spectacular ride!
Meghan Coppola 
Meghan is our crazy circus horse performer and western barrel racer. This outdoor enthusiast is also quite the Big Sky socialite. Ask her anything you want to know...from flowers to the hottest town gossip!
Marci Holm
This fiery redhead is an animated young lady with never ending stories and antics. Marci knows the ins and outs of Big Sky so ask her advice on what to do and not to do while here on your vacation. Yup, this one will definitely show you a good time and will make you laugh!
Megan Gorder
Not only is Megan handy with a shovel and a hammer, this North Dakotan also has a knack for working with the horses. This hard-working farm girl just recently graduated from MSU with a degree in Environmental Studies and loves answering any questions about the Montana ecosystem.
Kristy Zeidner
This soon-to-be nurse hails from Bellingham, Washinton. Kristy has spent the past 10 years of her life as a ski patroller and kayak guide. She has traveled extensively so ask her advice on where to travel next!
Mary Uravich
This native Idahoan has an extensive background in quarter horse showing. Mary is a raft guide-turned-wrangler who is a snowboard instructor during the winter. She knows all about the rocky mountains so ask any questions you have!
Micah Snowden 
A Texan by birth, Micah is the Horse Whisperer of the bunch. He brings to the team not only outstanding horsemanship skills, but also intricate knowledge of the immediate Big Sky area. With him as your guide, you will feel as though a true cowboy is taking you on your Rocky Mountain Adventure. Katie Coleman 
Katie Coleman, a schoolteacher by training, brings never-ending energy and laughter to the team. Lucky for us, Katie will not be attending summer school this year which will enable her to work with us and guide you on your adventure. As she has also worked several years as a landscaper, she can tell you all about the plants you see during your ride. |
